Thrilled to have two new co-translations from Luis Chaves’ Equestrian Monuments (Monumentos Ecuestres)—“Inventory” and “False Documentary”—up at Boston Review for National Poetry Month! #dreamteam #NaPoMo
The editors at Heavy Feather Review asked me to write a poem responding to the election results as part of their brave and important post-election #notmypresident feature, which I was delighted to do since I had otherwise been unable to gather my words immediately following that long, terrible night in November. Check out “The Demagogue Diet,” and all the other amazing voices they have gathered to speak out against the foul and destructive rhetoric of this new presidency.
Three brand new #dreamteam translations of some beautiful prose poems by Luis Chaves up over at Public Pool! “Out of Water” is one of our all time favorites from Equestrian Monuments/Monumentos Ecuestres ❤
My co-translator Julia Guez and I are so incredibly honored to have been awarded the John Frederick Nims Memorial Prize for Translation from The Poetry Foundation for our translation of Luis Chaves’s “Equestrian Monuments (A Litany)” in the October 2015 issue of POETRY!
Two new poems from THE FAT SONNETS alongside work by my genius co-translator, Julia Guez, AND two new translations of Luis Chaves, all in one gorgeous place: Springhouse #4!
